This photo gallery of MSC’s stunning ships will give you an idea of what an MSC cruise is like, but to really see it sparkle we recommend a cruise on one of these Italian based ships. The vessel was floated out on November 26, 2016, and completed (delivered to MSC) on November 29, 2017. During the delivery ceremony, MSC announced the order of two "Seaside EVO" class ships from Fincantieri (contract value EUR 1,8 billion). The new ships are bigger (16 m longer, 17,330 GT tons heavier, capacity 467 more passengers) in comparison to the sisterships Seaview and Seaside. The EVO-class newbuilds deliveries were scheduled for 2021 (Seashore) and 2023 (TBN). The Fincantieri Monfalcone-built Seaside is the first of the Seaside-class MSC newbuilds and the first MSC cruise liner christened in the USA (December 21, 2017, in PortMiami).

While you might be limited on choices when it comes to where to dine during your MSC Seaside cruise, that’s not the case when it comes to choosing where to drink. Aboard MSC Seaside, the two main dining rooms are Seashore Restaurant and Ipanema Restaurant; the buffets are Marketplace Buffet and Biscayne Bay Buffet. When MSC Cruises placed the order for their two initial Seaside ships, they placed the order for a 154,000 GT ship. Instead, both initial Seaside-class ships came out under this, at 153,516 GT each for MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview, which entered service in June 2018.
MSC Seaside staterooms (2066 total) are in 25 categories and include 1610 Outside and 454 Inside. The largest aboard MSC Seaside is the Yacht Club Royal Suite (670 ft2 / 62 m2 plus 355 ft2 / 33 m2 terrace with an outdoor whirlpool hot tub). The ship has 54 wheelchair-accessible cabins, 14 aft-corner suites, suites with outdoor Jacuzzis, terraced balcony staterooms (overlooking the Promenade) and cluster cabins (designed for families with children). The Yacht Club is restricted to premium passengers who pay for better suites and amenities. Typically, on other cruise ships, you can expect the VIP area to offer larger, nicer staterooms, possibly a restaurant or two and maybe a private pool. Revolutionary and stunning, the first of MSC Cruises' Seaside Class was introduced in 2017 with the arrival of the 160,000-ton, 5,179-guest MSC Seaside.
